Camping at Choke Cherry Ranch

Desi's parents own about 80 acres of land which is called Choke Cherry Ranch, "The Ranch," for short. It is just east of Downy, Idaho, which is 20 mi. north of Malad. In one area there is a trailer, fire pit, and some tree cover where you can pitch some tents. The rest of the area is great for 4-wheeling and hiking. It can get hot during the middle of the day, but the evenings and mornings are perfect.

This weekend Rue, Heidi, and Owen made the trip with us. They were great company and we hope they can join us again another time.

Here is Rue and Owen relaxing by the fire.

Both pictures above and below are of Stu and his cheesy grin.

Wes came too, but unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of him.
P.S. This was one of our last flings before Desi has to go back to school. This next semester shouldn't be too hard, but its no fun going back without Jed.
